About Us

Equine Therapies WA is Joanne Douglas, an equine EMMETT Therapy practitioner based in Geraldton, Western Australia.

I started my educational journey in 2015 after attending an equine massage workshop held by Equine Massage WA. This awakened a passion that has lead me to study a number of modalities, such as EMMETT Therapy and Equine Sports Massage, through Equestricare.

I also have experience in riding and educating my own horses. I have also attended Pony Club and currently a member of a number of Dressage Associations.
